Iris Lucille Goddard 4/23-3/93
Love goes a long way, providing lasting impacts that can make you flourish.
Little actions can make huge impacts.
Mr. Goddard grew up in foster homes initially and was adopted by a family, hence the name Goddard. While with the family for about eight years, it was not a great experience for him. At 13, he returned to the system and spent the rest of his childhood in group homes, boy’s ranches, etc. A background of trauma, misdiagnosis, mistreatment, moving, and misunderstanding led to feelings of isolation. However, his adoptive grandmother Iris was an island of peace and love in an ocean of turmoil. She always expressed unconditional love, understanding, and acceptance. While he did not get much time with her due to distance and sudden early death, she gave him one of his first experiences of knowing what it is like to feel love, peace, hope, healing, and recharging. He dedicates this center to her name in the hopes that our clients will experience this through our care and precision ketamine treatments.
